“Incandescent”

The Incandescent series was important for me to produce. I found a lot of hope drawing images that became a guiding light for me during a time that felt like it dimmed how so many of us emotionally and physically navigated the world. The luminous radiance of each drawing reminds me of small galaxies. A glimpse of the universe showing us that a world of wonder and promise is still possible – that our personal hopes for the future are still in front of us.

I hope that you may take time with these drawings, take in the light and vibrant color, and reflect. As you take a moment with each flower, remember your journey, but most importantly, envision where it may take you.

A rose and a galaxy. Impossibly different, yet completely intertwined.

Incandescent, according to Merriam-Webster dictionary: strikingly bright, radiant, or clear
